Prerequisites and Curriculum
As an MA in Economics student, you will be required to complete 30 to 33 units of coursework with a minimum GPA of 3.0. You may choose a thesis exit track or a comprehensive examination exit track.

Admission Requirements
The economics department requires:
- The GRE exam is waived for students whose GPA is above 3.3 (on a 4.0 scale)
- Two letters of recommendation
- Professional résumé
- Statement of purpose
- Leadership and creativity statement
- Official transcripts
- International students must also take one of the following three tests:
- TOEFL: minimum 550 (paper), 80 (IBIT)
- IELTS: minimum 7
- PTE: minimum 65
